Alex Melton - Little Rock, AR

Alex Melton was born in Bentonville, Arkansas, but spent most of his childhood in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Growing up he was always a Razorback fan, so when it came time to go to college, Melton chose to attend the University of Arkansas where he received his undergraduate degree in business administration.

After receiving his undergraduate degree, Melton moved to Little Rock, where he earned his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. During this time, he also worked for the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center where he helped assist individuals in starting their own small businesses. After completing his master’s degree, he then enrolled in law school at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law.

Following law school, Melton went to work for a civil firm in Little Rock. During his time there, Melton’s practice focused on estate planning, probate, business transactions, and general civil litigation. After a few years, Melton was drawn to Rainwater, Holt & Sexton because of the firm’s positive culture and the impactful role it plays in the lives of injured Arkansans.

When he isn’t practicing law, Melton enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, family, and friends. He also enjoys watching live music, reading, cooking, biking, playing sports and watching the Razorbacks.
