Tamara Shari Benefield is a top-notch family law litigator with over 15 years of experience handling high asset divorces and contested custody proceedings, as well as providing aggressive and compassionate representation for all things family law from child support and spousal support hearings to international and interstate child abduction cases.
Ms. Benefield is a highly skilled cross-examiner and an exceptionally gifted trial attorney. She knows the rules and laws regarding evidence and knows how to successfully raise objections and keep out certain evidence. She is a former professor at West Los Angeles College of Law and taught Civil Procedure to prepare students to pass the State Bar Examination.
She graduated a Public Interest Scholar from Loyola Law School and has since been awarded the National Bar Association’s “Top 40 Attorneys Under 40” award in 2017 and is an “Elite Advocate” by the American Institute of Legal Advocates as one of the top 1% of family law attorneys in the State of California.
