Michael J. Mirkovich is a partner of the firm and a member of the firm’s Real Estate, Finance and Corporate Practice Groups.
Mr. Mirkovich’s practice is focused in the area of commercial real estate transactions, including retail, office, restaurant, ground and build-to-suit leasing as well as real estate acquisitions, development, financing and sales. In leasing matters, he represents both landlords and tenants for the use of space in both large and small-scale shopping centers, power centers, shopping malls and strip malls. In addition to real estate matters, Mr. Mirkovich has extensive experience in general business representation, counseling and strategic planning.
Mr. Mirkovich’s involvement with real estate began in the late 1970’s as a California licensed Real Estate Salesperson working in the investment property segment of the industry. Prior to and continuing after his admission to the State Bar of California, Mr. Mirkovich was employed in the community development division of Orange County’s largest land owning company. He was primarily active in transactions regarding the sale of land to many well-recognized residential home and condo developers.
Mr. Mirkovich’s practice is fully focused on transactional matters, with many years prior of active engagement in litigation primarily in real estate and business disputes. He takes particular pride in his role as attorney-at-law and in his commitment additionally as counselor.
Mr. Mirkovich earned his law degree from Western State University College of Law in 1983. He earned his Masters of Science degree in environmental studies from California State University, Dominguez Hills in 1976 and his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1973.
