Carl L. Brown is a graduate of Foothill College where he received his A.A. degree in accounting. He obtained his J.D. degree from San Joaquin College of Law in 1976 and was admitted to the California State Bar the following year. Beginning in 1974, Mr. Brown served as a law clerk, an associate attorney, shareholder, managing partner, Board of Directors member and Chairman of the Board of Directors for a statewide insurance defense firm with a roster of over 60 attorneys in eight offices. In 2005 Mr. Brown sold his interest in a subsequently formed insurance defense firm located in Fresno, California. He currently represents personal injury plaintiff clients exclusively.

Mr. Brown's trial experience includes high exposure cases involving trucking accidents, wrongful death, insurance bad faith, professional negligence, product liability, construction, vehicular accidents, premises liability, inverse condemnation and public entity defense. He is a member of the California State Bar, the Fresno County Bar Association, and the American Association for Justice. Mr. Brown is an appointed Arbitrator by the Fresno and Madera County Superior Courts and appointed Judge Pro Tem for Fresno County Superior Court.
