Robert G. Gottschalk has been a member of the bar since 1975. Mr. Gottschalk has a general law practice handling civil law. His practice emphasizes estate planning, probate, conservatorships, business formation and divorce and child custody. He earned his J.D. at Hastings College of Law in San Francisco and his M.B.A. in finance at University of California at Berkeley. He served in the U.S. Naval Reserves from 1968 to 1996, including Vietnam service in 1969-70, and retired as a Captain.
In addition to a growing and successful law practice, he has experience as an account administrator and manager in the Crocker National Bank Trust Department for 11 years and served as statewide manager of the Trust Department of Sumitomo Bank of California for 5 years. His responsibilities included personal trusts, probate estates and conservatorships and employee benefit trusts. He currently serves as a member of the City Council of Millbrae, California.
