Overview
Rachael E. Sauer joined Winer, Burritt & Scott, LLP in November 2017. Prior, she worked as an Associate at a plaintiff’s law firm, where she primarily handled employment discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and other types of cases.
A Los Angeles native, Rachael earned her undergraduate degrees in English and Spanish at the University of Colorado Boulder. After college, she attended Tulane University Law School in New Orleans, Louisiana, where she received her Juris Doctor degree. While at Tulane, Ms. Sauer served as a Managing Editor for the Tulane Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property and was the Secretary/Treasurer of the Tulane Entertainment and Art Law Society. She also received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Entertainment Law.
Before becoming a member of the California State Bar, Rachael worked as a Research Assistant for Professor Janet C. Hoeffel. She also performed pro bono work for the Entertainment Law Legal Assistance project, where she provided legal services to low-income artists and musicians in New Orleans.
