Overview

Andy D. Perez is an associate who practices primarily in the areas of employment law, general litigation, personal injury defense, and trucking and transportation. Andy first joined GHB as a graduate legal assistant before being promoted to associate. Prior to working at GHB, Andy gained extensive experience in litigation, working as a summer associate at two civil litigation firms in the Bay Area. He also externed at the San Francisco District Attorney's Office through the UC Law San Francisco (Formerly UC Hastings) Criminal Practice Clinic, an intensive field placement program that enables students to make court appearances in felony cases under the supervision of experienced attorneys. In this position, Andy argued numerous hearings before the San Francisco Superior Court, examining witnesses on the stand and conducting oral argument.

Andy earned his JD in 2022 from the UC Law San Francisco (Formerly UC Hastings). As a law student, he earned the CALI Award for highest grade in the class in Legal Research and Writing II. Andy served as Executive Production Editor and staff editor for the UC Law San Francisco (Formerly UC Hastings) Science and Technology Law Journal. Andy holds a B.A. in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he played Division I Men's Soccer and earned an athletic scholarship. He was elected Team Captain in 2016, and awarded the Gaucho Sportsmanship Team Award and All Big West League Award during his athletic career. He is conversant in Spanish.
