Debra's advice was often contradictory and confusing. She seemed unsure of the law and her recommendations changed frequently. This made it difficult to trust her judgment.

Debra's lack ofcommunication caused unnecessary stress and anxiety. She rarely updated us on the progress of our case and we often had to chase her for information.

Debra charged exorbitant fees for minimal work. She nickel-and-dimed us for every email and phone call, even when the conversations were initiated by her. The final bill was much higher than we were initially led to believe.

Debra's office staff is disorganized and unresponsive. It took weeks for them to return my calls or schedule appointments. They made me feel like my case was not a priority.

Debra's lack of empathy and aggressive approach made an already difficult divorce even more traumatic. She seemed more interested in winning than finding a fair resolution for our family.

Despite presenting ourselves as a united front, Debra managed to drive a wedge between us with her divisive tactics and manipulative strategies. Now we're worse off than before we hired her.

Debra's communication skills left a lot to be desired. She constantly missed deadlines, failed to return calls, and gave us conflicting advice, leaving us feeling lost and frustrated.

We specifically asked Debra to help us create a fair and equitable division of assets, but she seemed more interested in pushing her own agenda and maximizing billable hours.

My ex and I were hoping to keep things amicable for the kids' sake, but Debra's aggressive approach turned our divorce into a bitter battleground. Thanks, Deb!

Debra promised to make our divorce "quick and painless," but it turned into a drawn-out nightmare with endless paperwork and skyrocketing legal fees.

We felt like Debra prioritized her own convenience over our child's best interests when creating our custody arrangement. She rushed through the process without fully considering our child's unique needs and preferences.

We felt like Debra treated our case like a business transaction rather than a sensitive family matter. Her lack of empathy and compassion made us feel like just another client, not a family in need of support.

The exorbitant fees charged by Debra's firm were not justified by the quality of service we received. We felt nickel-and-dimed at every turn, with unexpected charges and hidden fees constantly popping up.

I thought Schoenberg's high fees were insurance against basic legal mistakes. The firm: 1. Didn't know my hearing was in person until the day before. Not great when I live hundreds of miles from the courthouse 2. Misfiled my response, so it was rejected by the court 3. Failed to re-file it correctly in time for the hearing, meaning my attorney had no legs to stand on in front of the judge 4. Never actually told me the above, but instead did an advisory 180 and advised me to settle out of court at the last minute. I found out about the misfiling independently, months later 4. Billed me $300/h for proofreading by a paralegal, who misspelled every singe name, except for my ex's. The judge, the legal specialists, me -- none of us were spared :) 5. Billed $1K for the substitution of attorney form -- 2 pages, pretty basic -- at the onset, requiring 15 (not a typo) different billing entries. That same doc cost $100 at the end I hired them because I thought high prices meant quality work. This was a mistake I hope I don't make again, but was a very expensive lesson for me to learn. Maybe go with a different firm that has more consistent good reviews, and you can get my lesson on sale, as it were

I'm not satisfied with the manner in which I have been handled as a client. The Firm was hired for a singular purpose only, and I have been changed exorbitantly for a single scope assignment for which I have not received any tangible deliverable; I have NOT changed any direction or instruction for the assignment. No material and/or tangible step has been taken, except for seeking a continuance on the hearing, which has been carelessly handled. There has been no material movement on the matter for which I had retained the Firm. Once again, no hearing has taken place, no material strategy document has been prepared, no expert has been hired, no witnesses have been required to come in, there has been no waiting time for any attorney. Only a continuance has been filed, and I have been charged almost USD 7,000. I expected more from Schoenberg Family Law Group, P.C., given its testimonials and rankings, based on which I decided to engage the Firm.

Horrifying experience: This lawyer is a sham and a charlatan. She took tens of thousands of my money, did absolutely nothing. Never went on a single meeting with me, in fact none of her attorneys did either. When I asked to meet with her for all the money I had paid her, she threatened and said if I ask one more time she will fire me. "Evil" does not describe her well enough. Every attorney I met say the same that she should be the very very last resort anyone should seek. I talked to two attorneys who worked for her and said she is very corrupt and her billing practices are scam practices and that the lawyers don' t last in her firm because she is a nightmare of a boss and a scam artist.
