Joe Tobener is hands down the best tenant lawyer in the country. When we were being displaced from our commercial space in San Francisco, he helped us retain $100,000s in our negotiated settlement. I then turned to him to help me with my residential eviction. Our landlord is a notorious “bad egg” who evicts tenants for trumped up reasons -- in this case the fact that we installed a screen door on our patio -- yes, a screen door! Joe Tobener helped us get such a resounding win against our psycho landlord, that the landlord now has to recoup us all of our attorney fees and we get to keep our unit of 30 years! If you want the best tenant lawyer, Tobener is your man. He is funny, compassionate and incredibly competent!!

I contacted them by phone and explained everything I could involving our case.
