My wife and I are in our early 70ies and felt it was high time to get our personal affairs in order and arrange for an Estate Plan, i.e. a Living Trust, Will, Health Care Directive and so on. Not having had the need for an Attorney in the past we started Cold Turkey. After a number of phone interviews and a few personal consultation visits we were less than thrilled. We felt what was presented to us was mostly a cookie-cutter approach and get it done and over with quickly. In one of our internet searches we came across a link headline for The Probate House. We did not bother to follow the link thinking our aim was to avoid probate in the first place, so no need to dig deeper. I called on behalf of a friend who is having difficult time dealing with his mother's death and asked for my help. I wanted an appointment for a consultation and they refused to allow me to attend the meeting with my friend. Thought that was very unproffessiolnal. When someone is grieving they should allow moral support. What were they going to do take advantage of his sitution why wouldn't they allow someone to attend with him. Very disturbing.

I am very satisfied with the service I received from Sibylle Grebe and her staff. At the initial consultation Ms. Grebe took time to give me relevant information. It was evident she was experienced in estate planning. During the process, if I had a question or just wanted to check the status of my estate plan, I always received a prompt response.

You would think finding a lawyer to do your TRUST would be easy! Not in my case. I reached out to several local lawyers, what an experience that was. An Angel was truly sent my way with Cindy Kelso. She was excellent to work with. I can't thank her enough for all the time she spent with me and in answering all my questions. She helped me through this difficult process. I only had to drive 39 miles one way (78 miles round trip) 2 times. First for the free consult and then to sign the trust and have it notarized at the office. It was worth it driving the distance and spending time on the freeway. A very long overdue thank you to Sibylle Grebe and Lorenzo Stoller for taking control of a seemingly out-of-control situation during the early days of Covid in 2020 in protecting my father and his estate from his deceased wife's children. I initially met with Sibylle to have her represent my dad after his wife had passed, in figuring out how to best protect his assets. While she was unable to represent him due to capacity issues, she was able to represent me. Sibylle had me move quickly to find the original trust documents which had likely been drafted without much input from my father a few years earlier, floating everything from making sure I had co-power of attorney and co-trustee powers on all the documents to considering a conservatorship. Lorenzo then took over the case and seamlessly helped draft new documents that protected my father and helped me keep oversight over his wife's children. My dad now resides with me in Washington state, and has since regained some capacity. Although he has shaky recollection of that year due to the stress of his grief and Covid, I am forever grateful to the Probate House for doing what needed to be done to protect the livelihood for which he had worked his entire life as a physician in Los Angeles. Between the days of July 16th through July 20th I traveled from Stockton, CA to Los Angeles CA to visit family and to meet with an attorney at another firm to receive clarification and further instruction on a probate issue surrounding a storage unit in my late mother's name and a non-family member. That firm cancelled my in-person appointment after I called stating I would be arriving behind schedule. Stoller who I found to be very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about my particular probate situation, suggesting three options that were applicable, one which required printing affidavit form SB-13100 which the storage facility said it would accept without the need of me contacting the party we want to remove from the list. Stoller and upon my arrival, I met Principal Attorney Sibylle Grebe who explained that the consultation was complimentary and though my gesture of offering a gratuity was appreciated, it was not necessary. My experience with both Principal Attorney Grebe and Attorney Stoller was very positive. You see my probate issue is not a big-ticket issue and yet this firm treated my dilemma with compassion, kindness, and professionalism I found lacking at the previous firm contacted and provided a solution that the storage facility accepted without issue. My siblings and I are very grateful for Attorney Stoller's advice as we now will not lose family items of great sentimental value to us.
