West Sacramento Personal Injury Lawyer

Overview

Ashley Meyer has a mission to protect individuals and families, so they can achieve peace of mind. In personal injury law, there's no greater joy for her than seeing an injured client gain physical and financial recovery, so they can return to doing the things they love the most.

In 2013, Ashley and her husband, Eric, opened Meyer Law Offices, now Meyer Injury Lawyers in Northern California. In 2022, they opened Meyer Injury Lawyers in Idaho. They live in the Treasure Valley with their sons Brian Jay and Easton Eric, and their beautiful daughter, Brooklyn Faith.

Throughout Ashley's professional journey, she's had incredible experiences working in and with dynamic organizations, including former Governor Schwarzenegger's administration, a large PR firm, an organizational and efficiency consulting company, and national networking organizations.

Through these experiences, Ashley honed her communication, negotiation, and dispute resolution skills, compounding her legal training for even better representation for her clients. For Ashley, there's nothing better than getting an individual back to enjoying what and who they love the most. As a mom of three herself, and the owner of multiple businesses, Ashley knows how the chaos of daily life can sometimes rob us from enjoying the moments that make life beautiful.

Ashley's professional journey has been fueled by a passion for creating order out of chaos and doing it in the simplest way possible. Then Ashley is not in court or at the office advocating for clients, she enjoys family snuggles, the great outdoors, firepits, sunset chasing, and a healthy dose of DIY interior design! Her husband and their three amazing kids, Brian Jay, Easton Eric, and Brooklyn Faith are her world!

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

Comfort Level
- Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?

Credentials
- How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?

Cost
- How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?

City
- Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
