Dylan Unger, a Boulder native, attended the University of Colorado-Boulder for his undergraduate and earned his bachelor's degree from the School of Journalism, graduating on Dean's List in 2010. He interned at Section 45 Advertising while in school, and upon graduation worked as a freelance copywriter. Mr. Unger changed the course of his career and decided to attend law school at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2016.

At the University of Denver Sturm College of Law Mr. Unger was awarded a Provost Scholarship, a merit-based scholarship. During the summer of Dylan's first year in school, he applied for the Denver University Law Review and was accepted to join as an Editor. In his final year, he was promoted to Assistant Managing Editor.

While in law school, Mr. Unger garnered experience by spending his first summer at Moye White, LLP, working largely on transactional matters. He spent the next fall semester as a law clerk for the 18th Judicial District Court, working for Judge Collins on a mixed docket. While there, he observed a variety of proceedings ranging from preliminary criminal hearings, to discovery disputes and trials, and researched legal issues for Judge Collins. During this time, Dylan also participated in the National Trial Team Trial Practicum, a mock trial team that represents the law school. The courtroom experience prompted him to be hungry to participate in the Civil Litigation Clinic, representing clients seeking in domestic abuse cases. He conducted hearings to assist these clients to obtain permanent protection orders, primarily in the Denver District Court.

After completing his clinical law experience, Mr. Unger worked for a small personal injury practice to bolster his experience in the personal injury field. Finally, in his final semester of law school, he worked for the Douglas County District Attorney's Office prosecuting cases under the Student Practice Act. After Mr. Unger tried three cases before a jury, he knew that he wanted to be in the courtroom. After passing the Colorado Bar Exam and receiving his license in 2016 to practice law in Colorado, he joined Franklin D. Azar & Associates to work full time in the field of personal injury.

When he's not in service to the needs of clients, Mr. Unger assists fellow Frank Azar & Associates attorney, Natalie Brown, coach the Rangeview High School mock trial team. Dylan also spends his time customizing vintage motorcycles. His current project is rebuilding a 1978 Suzuki GS1000 motorcycle into a café racer. As a Boulder native, he loves to do all Colorado outdoor activities. During his spare time on a sunny day, Dylan enjoys grilling and cooking for friends, biking, and hiking with his wife and dogs.
