Overview
Stephen F. McWhirter earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. Before graduating, he gained valuable experience practicing for the Arapahoe County District Attorney's office under the Student Practice Act. Since his admission to the Colorado Bar, Steve has gained widespread experience in the practice of law. Having achieved successful settlements and favorable judgments, his experience has come both in and out of the courtroom.
Before law school, Steve was an intelligence analyst and Russian linguist in the U.S. Army, serving in California, Texas, Russia, and England. He was recognized for his achievements by both the Army and U.S. Department of State. From 2005 to 2006, Steve and is family lived in China teaching English to college students.
Steve is a native of Nebraska, and moved to Colorado in 2003. He has been married to his beautiful wife for almost 12 years, and they have two lovely daughters. The McWhirter family enjoys Colorado's outdoor recreational opportunities, including hiking, snowshoeing, and skiing.
