Consulted Law firm 2018Steven Lynch should have his license revoked. Buyer beware. He’s not a professional attorney, he’s a greedy monster.
-
Consulted Law firm 2018In a time where we should be supporting and helping our community, this group of attorneys do quite the opposite. Fleecing and attacking single moms and school teachers over silly landlord cases, and enforcing evictions on paying tenants hardly seems like the kind of thing we need in the Vail Valley. Steven May is not a profession attorney, and lies, bullies and charges a fortune for his work. No one should hire these lawyers, they are snakes and we don't need this kind of thing in our community. So many other great options in the valley, don't hire Larsen & Lynch or Steven May!

Hired Law firm 2018The absolute worst experience I've had with an attorney in all my years in business and real estate. Horrified! And the bill? I'm shocked at what nerve they have charging me so much, I've been extorted!

Consulted Law firm 2018Vindictive law firm that prides itself on taking clients' money no matter who their victim is. Steven May is an unscrupulous man who does not respond to correspondences, and takes pleasure in bullying to "win." I've never met a more pedantic and shameless attorney in my 30++ years of business. What kind of lawyer specializes in collections and evictions? The super scuzzy kind! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS LAW FIRM! Buyer beware. Snakes and sharks with no integrity. WORST legal team in the Vail Valley!!!

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
