Marlana Caruso is a partner in the firm’s Family Law Practice. One of the firm’s most esteemed family law attorneys, Marlana is an accomplished litigator and a leader in the legal community.
Marlana draws on a wealth of knowledge she’s cultivated throughout her career to help families overcome the complex and painful domestic litigation process impacting their lives.
The Colorado Supreme Court has recognized Marlana for her pro bono activities outside the firm. She is also active in various mentoring programs for new and emerging lawyers.
Prior to joining Robinson & Henry, Marlana worked for the country’s largest domestic litigation law firm.
Representative matters
- Restricted parenting time - Obtained court order for a client against the co-parent who refused to take precautions to protect their child from COVID-19 at the height of the pandemic
- Modified protection order - Compelled the court to modify a protection order after a parent successfully underwent treatment for substance use disorder
- Divorce settlement - Obtained a favorable settlement in a complex divorce following 30 years of marriage
- Permanent protection order defense - Successfully defended a client who risked losing their job overseas due to a potential PPO
- Spousal maintenance - Successfully terminated spousal maintenance to alleviate client’s financial burden amid health crisis
- Child support enforcement - Obtained an income withholding order, allowing our client to begin recovering more than $20,000 in unpaid child support
