At this writing, attorney Joel D. Muhlbaum is one of about a dozen elder law attorneys in Connecticut certified by the National Elder Law Foundation (NELF) as a Certified Elder Law Attorney (CELA). Joel is a former executive committee member and section treasurer of the Elder Law Section of the Connecticut Bar Association and currently serves as co-chair of the Elder Law Section of the Fairfield County Bar Association, Inc. Attorney Sharon H. Rosen is an extremely experienced and qualified elder law attorney who, prior to attending law school, earned a Ph.D. in health psychology. Sharon is active in numerous professional and civic organizations, including sitting on the Medical Ethics Committee of a local hospital and serving on a local government committee focusing its efforts on establishing affordable dignified housing for area seniors. Joel and Sharon together bring commitment and competence to Stamford area families struggling with the difficulties of getting older and facing the legal and financial challenges head-on.
