Micaela Fonseca - Boca Raton, FL

Micaela is an Associate Attorney at Yaffa Family Law Group, where she represents clients in sophisticated family law matters with thoughtful counsel, strategic advocacy, and a steady, client-centered approach. She is particularly attuned to the personal and legal complexities that arise in family disputes and is committed to helping clients navigate difficult transitions with clarity, discretion, and confidence.

Originally from Ecuador, Micaela came to the United States on a tennis scholarship before earning her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, cum laude, from Florida Atlantic University and her Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law, where she distinguished herself through leadership roles and competitive advocacy.

Prior to joining the firm, Micaela developed a strong litigation foundation through insurance defense and family law practice, gaining experience in motion practice, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.

As a mother, Micaela is especially mindful of issues affecting children and the importance of protecting their best interests while promoting stability for families in transition.

Micaela is trilingual in English, Spanish, and French and serves on the Board of the Young Lawyers Section of the South Palm Beach County Bar Association. Outside of practice, she enjoys tennis, her local run club, fitness, travel, and time with her daughter, family, and friends.
