Overview

Samantha Snyder is an associate attorney in the Insurance Defense practice group at Smith Bigman Brock. She graduated from Kutztown University with a Bachelor of Arts in 2014 and earned her Juris Doctorate in 2017 from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. During law school, Ms. Snyder was a junior staff member on the Hofstra Labor & Employment Law Journal where she published two blog posts on animal law-related issues. She worked with The Lexus Project, a not-for-profit corporation that provides pro bono legal defense for dogs deemed dangerous or vicious that are facing incarceration or execution. She also worked with the Hofstra Disaster Recovery Law Clinic and aided individuals affected by Hurricane Sandy on a variety of issues, including NYS Department of Financial Services insurance claims, landlord-tenant disputes, and contractor and construction issues. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Snyder worked at Security First Insurance Company as a Litigation Examiner.
