Overview
Originally from Boston, Mr. Donovan began visiting Delray Beach in the early 1990's. He fell in love with the city and decided to relocate here permanently.
Mr. Donovan brings a diverse financial, tax and legal background to Palm Beach County. For several years he practiced law in Massachusetts focused on real estate, tax, business and litigation matters. Prior to that, Mr. Donovan worked with the "Big Four" in New York and Chicago advising multi-national Fortune 500 companies on complex tax matters.
Since moving his practice to Florida in 2019, Mr. Donovan has represented real estate developers in the acquisition, financing, development and disposition of several multi-family housing developments throughout the southeastern United States. Also, Mr. Donovan has advised real estate investors on the formation of domestic private equity funds. In addition, he has provided sophisticated tax and business counsel to numerous high net worth clients and their businesses. Further, Mr. Donovan's knowledge and experience have been sought after by top South Florida divorce attorneys to assist in the negotiation and litigation of several high profile marital matters.
