Overview
Attorney Jack Platt was born and raised in Brevard County where he is a fifth-generation member of one of Brevard county’s pioneering families. Upon graduation from Melbourne High School, he became a firefighter for Rockledge Fire Department until 1984 when he transitioned to a career with Pruitt Real Estate. At Pruitt Real Estate he was the number two listing agent in the country for ERA real estate. In 1988, with the help of his wife Cathie, he left to pursue a law degree and in 1993 graduated from Florida State University College of Law. Mr. Platt and his wife have three children all of whom have remained in Brevard County. Mr. Platt is often asked to emcee charity events and sits on the board of the Margaret Binz Foundation where he has been instrumental in donating millions of dollars for underprivileged children and animals. Mr. Platt has been named Lawyer of Distinction numerous times, has been named the attorney of the year by the Brevard County paralegal association and was recently recognized for outstanding service to Brevard County Legal Aid.
For over 30 years, Mr. Platt has used his vast experience and passion for the law to provide his clients with the zealous advocacy they deserve.
