Overview
A. P. Gibbs was born in Madison, Florida, on June 8, 1939. He has practiced law in Pasco County and neighboring counties since 1967. He is a member of the Florida Bar Association, is a twice past-President of the Pasco County Bar Association, and currently serves as Chairman of the Board of the First National Bank of Pasco. He is a former Captain in the United States Marine Corps Reserve. He graduated from Florida State University in 1961 and the University of Florida Law School in 1966, and he was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1967.Mr. Gibbs is a veteran trial lawyer, having tried many different types of cases in many different courts. He is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of the United States and other lower federal courts, and all state courts. He has made several appearances in the Supreme Court of Florida and has twice won reversals from that court.
