Overview
Miracle C. Jackson received her Bachelor of Arts from Florida A&M University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She then went on to attend the Florida A&M University-College of Law in Orlando, Florida. During Law School, she participated in various organizations such as the Women's Law Caucus, Black Law Students Association, and she served as the Parliamentarian for the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. Ms. Jackson was also a participant of the Frederick Douglass Moot Court Team. She later went on to judge the competition.
Prior to founding Jackson Steed, LLC, Ms. Jackson practiced Criminal Law as a Court Appointed attorney. While practicing criminal Law, Ms. Jackson represented thousands of individuals charged with offenses in State Court giving her extensive experience in handling DUIs and traffic offenses. She has also handled various other criminal cases such as assault, batteries, domestic violence cases, and drug offenses. Ms. Jackson then went on to work at a small Family Law Firm where she practiced both criminal and family law. There she focused on divorces, alimony, custody and visitation, child support modifications, legitimations, adoptions, and domestic violence cases.
During her years of practice, Ms. Jackson has received extensive litigation experience and has participated in numerous jury trials. She is also skilled at negotiating with state prosecutors to obtain favorable results for her clients.
Ms. Jackson is also a very active member of the legal community and is a member of the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Atlanta Bar Association, the Cobb County Bar Association, the Gate City Bar Association and is admitted to the Georgia Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Georgia. She also serves as the Vice President of the Family Law Section of the Cobb County Bar.
