Overview
When I founded the Law Office of John Dufour, I did so with the intent of helping residents of Carrollton, Georgia, navigate some of the toughest times in their lives. Whether it is a personal injury lawsuit or substantial debt that weighs a client down, I use my nearly three decades of experience, familiarity with local laws and court systems, and long-standing reputation to advocate on their behalf in the face of adversity. For personal injury victims, I fight for the compensation they need to recover comfortably and move forward with their lives. For bankruptcy clients, I help them navigate the complexities of the process and obtain financial relief in the most practical ways possible.
I focus a large part of my law office on helping injured individuals obtain financial relief for the wrongs they have endured. Though many of our clients are victims of animal bites, car accidents and trucking accidents, several face complex claims that involve the following:

In addition to representing individuals through the Law Office of John Dufour, I do my part to assist individuals throughout my community. I serve as a guest lecturer at the University of West Georgia and am a former member of the City of Temple Ethics Committee and the Temple City Council. My wife, two daughters and I are active members of the Midway Baptist Church.
