Alton Pharmaceutical Litigation Lawyer

Overview

Attorney Jason Meyers works as an associate at Simmons Hanly Conroy LLC where he focuses primarily on pharmaceutical and medical device litigation. He assists in litigating mass tort cases on behalf of individuals who have suffered an injury caused by dangerous drugs or defective medical devices through no fault of their own.

With ten years of practicing law under his belt, Jason enjoys finding new evidence to help build his clients’ cases. He has a proven track record of using pre-trial evidentiary analysis to contribute to the successful outcomes of numerous cases.

“Evidentiary analysis is often a lot like treasure hunting,” Jason said. “I sometimes have to sift through a lot of dirt to find the true gems that will help our clients prove their cases.”

Jason prides himself on being able to use his distinct set of skills on multiple cases at a time, all while being able to maintain perspective and reach his targeted goals.

“I am analytical and methodical, but also unafraid to approach something from a fresh perspective,” he said.

Jason earned his J.D. from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis where he was on the Dean’s List for three consecutive years. He also graduated cum laude from Webster University with a B.A. in media communications.

In his free time, Jason is actively involved in the St. Louis theatre scene. He has appeared in many different productions, including All is Calm, which won the St. Louis Theatre Circle Award for Best Production of a Musical.

From his time participating in theater, Jason has gained a great sense of community which he brings to all of his working relationships. He believes that open communication and inclusiveness are key when it comes to getting the best possible results for clients.

“It feels good to be part of a team that works to help individuals recoup the losses they’ve suffered,” he said. “I believe in what we do for our clients and in the process by which we do it.”
