Since 1988, Ms. Tobin has been engaged in civil litigation practice with an emphasis on professional liability-related matters. She is an experienced trial lawyer. She also has extensive experience in arbitration.
Prior to joining Tobin, Petkus & Muñoz, she was a partner at the defense firm of Hinshaw & Culbertson. There she dedicated her practice to representing lawyers, hospitals, physicians and nurses. She has years of experience in the areas of medical, dental and legal malpractice. She has defended attorneys in a wide range of underlying practice areas including business transactions, commercial litigation, personal injury and others.
Ms. Tobin is recognized for her indefatigable work ethic, resourcefulness, professionalism and compassion for her clients. Her practice is concentrated on civil litigation.
Ms. Tobin speaks actively and has been published. She has given numerous presentations regarding malpractice defense issues. For six years she was an elected representative of the General Assembly to the Illinois State Bar Association. She is a former member of the Chicago Inn of Court. She received her law degree from IIT/Chicago-Kent College of Law and undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is admitted to practice in Illinois.
