With over 20 years of legal experience, Robert Good Lohman III set out to open his own legal practice in 2019. In his first few years of practicing law, Robert Lohman has won over 10 “not-guilty” jury verdicts. Not only that, Robert Good Lohman III (founder of Lohman Law Group, LLC) has also won a reverse and remand decision after presenting an oral argument before the Illinois Appellate Court in the matter of Mueller v. Andre.

To date, Robert Good Lohman III has personally tried over 30 jury cases as a solo or a first-chair trial attorney across the Cook County Circuit Court and the Lake County Circuit Court. Robert Good Lohman III has also tried dozens of bench trials. Because Robert Good Lohman III has also conducted hundreds of arbitrations in the Chicago area and throughout the state of Illinois, he has thorough experience in both court trials and arbitration proceedings.

Robert Good Lohman III began practicing personal injury defense litigation in 1997. Meanwhile, at the height of his career as a personal injury defense attorney, Robert Good Lohman III managed a portion of a law firm, spanning over 40 attorneys across three offices. In doing so, he defended almost exclusively wrongful death and catastrophic injury cases and handled complex litigation matters.

After several years of successful service as a personal injury defense attorney, Robert Good Lohman III moved on to representing plaintiffs in personal injury lawsuits at Garelli & Associates. Later, he expanded his career into commercial litigation and transactions, including real estate closings and federal intellectual property matters. Robert Good Lohman III proactively managed matters for both plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal court systems.

As a seasoned lawyer, Robert Good Lohman III is not only licensed to practice in Illinois, but Kentucky, too. However, his passion for real estate extends beyond the legal world as he is also a licensed real estate broker in Illinois.

In tandem with his work as a real estate attorney and a personal injury lawyer, Robert Good Lohman III (and by proxy Lohman Law Group, LLC) also assists clients with matters pertaining to entertainment law. This experience lends additional credence to Robert Lohman’s tenure as a band manager through his work with A Cities’ Edge Management.

Though Lohman Law Group, LLC was formally established according to the State of Illinois in 2019, Robert Good Lohman III managed his own practice for nine years, thus far. In addition, he is a founding member of his last firm, Lohman, Neschis & Tolitano, LLC.

To date, Robert Good Lohman III primarily handles residential and commercial real estate transactions, commercial leases, real estate litigation, and landlord/tenant disputes. He also serves clients with business acquisition and the sale of business assets. Lohman Law Group, LLC also provides collections services for companies and individuals, along with handling corporation formations, LLC formations, and S corporation formations. In addition, Lohman Law Group, LLC represents plaintiffs in wrongful death and severe personal injury cases.

Utilizing his education and professional background in theatre and music, Robert Good Lohman III and Lohman Law Group, LLC provide entertainment law services to clients in the music and film industries. This work entails drafting contracts, shopping demos, executive producing films, and providing subsequent management services for musical acts. With his experience in intellectual property law, Robert Good Lohman III handles copyrights and trademarks.

Robert Good Lohman III negotiates and drafts contracts for bands and solo artists, shops demos, and handles copyright and trademark registrations. Lohman Law Group, LLC also executive produces, produces, and provides legal services for films. Additionally, he provides management services for musical acts.

Robert Good Lohman III offers legal guidance on equine-related matters, including horse sales, breeding contracts, waivers of liability for stable owners and recreational equine activities, and farrier and veterinarian malpractice.

Over the last few years, Robert Good Lohman III has concentrated his practice primarily in commercial litigation, and the handling of matters for both plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal courts. In his last trial for Johnson & Bell, Robert Good Lohman III represented the plaintiff in a breach of contract and consumer fraud action.

Currently, Robert Good Lohman III manages his own practice, Lohman Law Group, LLC. While this practice is primarily dedicated to residential and commercial real estate law and commercial litigation, Lohman Law Group, LLC also serves clients with matters pertaining to equine law, entertainment law, and personal injury law. Robert Good Lohman III is a title agent for City Suburban Title Insurance, Ticor Title Insurance, and Chicago Title Insurance Company. Robert Good Lohman III is an Illinois-licensed real estate broker who also practices in the state of Illinois. He services both the property listing and the property sales side for parties in residential and commercial real estate transactions.
