5.0 out of 5 stars

I worked with Mr. Marker and his team for close to a year. The moment I asked them to get involved in my workman’s comp I felt relief and that someone was fighting for me when I didn’t know how. Their team took away the burden of stress and gave me a sense of real relief. I could not ask for a better lawyer. When the whole experience was over it was such a relief but kinda of sad that I would not be dealing with these wonderful people still. Thank you Mr. Marker for the great work you did. I am truly grateful!

This is my second time working with Mark and his staff and it has been nothing but exceptional work. I’ve had great put outcomes both times. Make and just Paralegal (Marisol) informed me every step of the way letting me know what to expect and when to expect it. Mark was ever honest with me on every question I had. And his team was literally a phone call or email away getting back to in the same day every time. I would recommend this firm to anyone looking for help.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

Comfort Level
- Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?

Credentials
- How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?

Cost
- How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?

City
- Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
