The Peoria, Illinois, law firm of Angela Evans Law, PC, represents clients in family law, divorce and mediation. Angela Evans is a graduate of Samford University's Cumberland School of Law and admitted to practice law since 2010. She initially gained valuable legal experience serving as a prosecutor in the state of Alabama. During that time, she gained significant litigation experience and transitioned her practice to areas of civil law after moving to the central Illinois region.
In 2021, Angela extended her practice into the area of mediation and became a trained and court-approved mediator, listed on the approved mediator list for the Tenth Judicial Circuit of Illinois. She was named to the Illinois State Bar Association's Alternative Dispute Resolution Section Council for 2022-2023.
Ms. Evans has received a great deal of recognition within the legal profession since starting her law practice in Illinois. In 2012, she was named "Young Lawyer of the Year Outside of Cook County" by the Illinois State Bar Association and she has been included on the Illinois Super Lawyers Rising Stars list in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2020, 2021 and named a Super Lawyer since 2022. She has been named an Emerging Lawyer by Leading Lawyers since 2018.
