Attorney Information

Overview

When faced with a difficult legal situation, Rich wants to make certain that his clients have the best representation in their corner. For over 25 years, Rich has guided his clients by offering the most-sound advice and legal counsel possible. Nothing has been more important to him than upholding his clients’ legal rights and ensuring whatever situation that they face, results in the best possible outcomes.

Rich began his practice by handling multi-discipline cases in the area of family law, criminal law and civil litigation. Rich’s diverse background gives him a strong understanding of the diverse issues presented in domestic relations cases. Rich has now devoted his practice exclusively to family law and related matters.

Rich is a cum laude graduate from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan. Prior to receiving his Juris Doctorate, Rich earned his bachelor’s degree from Indiana University in South Bend, Indiana. He is admitted to practice law in the Indiana Supreme Court and the United States District Court, Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana. He is a former Magistrate for Allen Superior Court, Deputy Prosecuting Attorney with Allen County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office and court-appointed Guardian Ad Litem and Public Defender for Children In Need of Services proceedings. He has extensive career in private practice.

As a former United States Air Force Sergeant, Rich is highly accomplished and meticulously organized, plus his overall professional experience gained from his family, criminal and civil law practice gives him a unique vantage point from which to survey the opportunities and challenges in legal proceedings. He continues to help his clients and their families through the tough times.

During his free time, Rich enjoys spending time with his wife, Rebecca; keeping up to date on the college athletes his son, Justin, coaches; dining out or trying out new recipes in the kitchen, on the grill or smoker and following his favorite Buffalo teams – the Bills and Sabres.

“At his best, man is the noblest of all animals; separated from law and justice he is the worst.” Aristotle
