Attorney Information
Overview
Taylor Ivy is an attorney with Ladendorf Fregiato & Bigler, where he represents individuals and families across Indiana in personal injury and civil litigation matters. His practice covers motor-vehicle collisions, premises liability, product liability, and other complex tort cases. Known for his meticulous preparation, creativity, and tenacity in the courtroom, Taylor is committed to leveling the playing field for clients taking on corporations, insurance carriers, and powerful institutions.
Taylor’s dedication to injury law is rooted in his own family’s story. When his father was severely injured in an ATV accident during Taylor’s childhood, he saw firsthand the ripple effects that catastrophic injuries have on loved ones. That experience continues to fuel his commitment to guiding clients through the legal process with both fierce advocacy and compassion.
Before law school, Taylor worked a wide variety of jobs — from construction and agriculture to public service. Those experiences instilled in him a tireless work ethic and a grounded, practical perspective that he brings to his clients’ cases. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Southern Indiana and his law degree from Indiana University McKinney School of Law. While at McKinney, he began clerking with Ladendorf Law and joined the firm as an associate attorney after graduating in 2021.
Taylor lives in Lebanon, Indiana, with his wife, Rachal, their young son, Jack, and their two dogs, Enzo and Tesla. Away from the office, he enjoys woodworking, fishing, golf, and playing recreational sports.
He is admitted to practice in all Indiana state courts and in the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
