Overview
Born and raised in Porter County, Jim graduated with honors from Indiana University and Georgetown University Law Center.
After clerking for a federal judge and serving as a public defender in New Orleans, Jim returned to Indiana. His practice focuses on appeals of criminal convictions and criminal defense. Jim has been counsel in numerous jury trials and prepared many criminal appeals.
Jim is active in his community, serving on the board of several non-profits. He is also a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Jim enjoys running, reading, and travel.
