Annapolis Personal Injury - Plaintiff Law Firm
Overview
When I founded The Gaudreau Law Firm in Salisbury, Maryland, I did so with the goal of helping injured parties find powerful solutions to their challenging legal issues. I and my team understand that a personal injury can devastate a person's physical health, career and overall quality of life. I use my nearly 35 years of experience, passion for justice and unyielding approach to fight for injured individuals and to do what is necessary to secure the largest possible settlement or verdict on their behalf.
Regardless of the types of accidents that bring individuals to my law office, I provide them with personal attention and respect from day one. During the free initial consultation, I take time to assess the value of a case and provide my honest opinion regarding its merits, challenges and pitfalls. When I do take on a case, I work diligently to uncover every last bit of evidence and to account for every possible defense. In this way, I routinely secure successful outcomes for victims of the following:
- Motor vehicle accidents
- Trucking accidents
- Motor vehicle defects
- Workers' compensation
- Wrongful death
I also have an extensive background in criminal defense. Today, I mostly represent individuals who face DUI/DWI charges.
As a well-known trial attorney throughout the state, I have earned a reputation for dogmatically pursuing a case to verdict. The Gaudreau Lasw Firm holds some of the highest jury awards in the state and, as a result, I have the honor of being one of the few selected members of the Maryland Super Lawyers list. Because of my tenacity and track record of success, local insurance companies often try to settle with my clients to avoid going to court. I gladly accept credit cards as payment.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level
- - Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials
- - How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost
- - How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City
- - Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
