In August 2010, Ms. Authement opened her own firm, KMA Law Office, to assist individuals and families with Estate Planning, Probate Administration, and Personal Injury claims. Ms. Authement stays on top of the current legal issues and changing laws with continuing legal education on a regular basis. She is a member of the Severna Park Chamber, a member of the Board of Directors for the Severna Park Community Center and takes pride in sponsoring local community events through these organizations.
