Overview

Karen M. Authement has been practicing law in Maryland since 2004 and District of Columbia since 2006. She has extensive experience in Wills, Trusts, Estate Planning, Probate Administration and Personal injury claims for auto collisions and work injuries. Ms. Authement worked as a paralegal in a Plaintiff's complex personal injury and medical malpractice firm for 9 years while completing her Bachelor degree and law degree in the evenings. She served as Managing Associate for a foreclosure and debt collection firm for over five years assisting real estate investors from 2005-2010.

In August 2010, Ms. Authement opened her own firm, KMA Law Office, to assist individuals and families with Estate Planning, Probate Administration, and Personal Injury claims. Ms. Authement stays on top of the current legal issues and changing laws with continuing legal education on a regular basis. She is a member of the Severna Park Chamber, a member of the Board of Directors for the Severna Park Community Center and takes pride in sponsoring local community events through these organizations.
