Boston Personal Injury -- Plaintiff Law Firm
Overview
Morristown and Red Bank Personal Injury Attorneys
Morris County Criminal Defense Lawyers
With a diverse legal career spanning 30 years, as a defense litigation attorney as well as a municipal court and superior court judge, attorney Robert Gold founded our law firm in 1997. Since then our firm has grown, and a legacy of justice has been passed along to new attorneys. Together, the team of attorneys at Gold, Albanese & Barletti, L.L.C. work our cases based on this solid foundation in law.
Each of us brings his or her own experience to the firm. With these varied backgrounds, you don't get just one attorney; you get a fully-functioning team of lawyers who can work both sides of a legal matter. Whether you need plaintiff or defense work, we have handled both sides and can build a more effective case because of this knowledge.
Deep Roots in Justice and the Law
It is a deep base of knowledge that infuses our law firm and the way we represent our clients every day. In addition to his experience as a judge, our founding attorney received an AV Peer Review Rating* through Martindale-Hubbell (the highest rating), and has served as a New Jersey Discovery Master. He has also been selected for inclusion in 2006 New Jersey Super Lawyers.
Robert Gold has taught his colleagues to be aggressive, proactive and to prepare every case as if it were going to trial. When it comes to working cases, no stone is left unturned, no sliver of evidence undiscovered. We find that the more work we put in on the front end of a case, the better the final settlement or trial will be.
We handle many practice areas, but chiefly represent the injured and the accused. Our firm is licensed and admitted to municipal, state, federal and appellate courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court. We have the knowledge to work these cases, the patience and perseverance to keep them on track, and the ability to go all the way to the top, if necessary.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level
- - Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials
- - How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost
- - How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City
- - Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
