Del De Miranda received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Brandeis University and received his law degree from the University of California Los Angeles. In 1982, Attorney DeMiranda began his legal career in criminal law and also worked at the NAACP Legal Defense Fund. Since 1987, he has concentrated his practice in areas of civil and criminal matters including automobile accidents and workplace accidents. Attorney De Miranda spent part of his practice devoted to being a Bar Advocate for the Committee For Public Counsel Services.
