How I Serve Clients
As a lawyer for more than 31 years, a significant portion of my practice has been devoted to representing the elderly who have suffered from abuse or injuries due to the negligence of nursing homes and long-term care facilities. I've seen first-hand the terrible injuries that have been suffered by the elderly due to the poor and substandard treatment at these facilities.
When those who are entrusted to care for a parent or family member instead cause injuries, I and our firm are there to be their voice.
This is particularly true as in many instances those who are abused and neglected are not able to speak out or fight back for themselves. Our firm is there to document the abuse and neglect that took place, and to seek for the elderly and injured the full measure of damages to which they may be entitled.
I am pleased to have been involved with many agencies, commissions, and organizations that support elder rights and care.
I have also had many opportunities to work with our legislature toward promoting the health and safety for the elderly, particularly in nursing homes and long-term care facilities in areas such as:
- Identifying frequent causes of injuries to seniors in nursing homes and long-term care facilities, and
- Bringing to light the abuse and neglect of the elderly, particularly involving reporting abuse and neglect.
If a parent or loved one has been injured at a nursing home or long-term care facility, I would invite you to call me or one of the other attorneys at our firm so that we may learn about your case.
