Overview

Robert Carollo graduated from Chippewa Valley High School in Clinton Township in 2005. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business in 2009 from Kalamazoo College in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Apart from his studies, Mr. Carollo was a four-year letter winner for the Kalamazoo College Division III Football Team.

In 2012, he received a Juris Doctor from the Michigan State University College of Law. He was a Captain on the Michigan State Appellate Moot Court Executive Board, ranking #12 nationally by the Law School Advocacy Group during his tenure and his team placed 2nd Overall in the John Marshall Information Technology and Privacy Law International Moot Court Competition.

Mr. Carollo began his career as a Clerk for the Honorable David Viviano of the Macomb County Circuit Court. He was also the Senior Law Clerk at the Lansing law firms Dalimonte Law, P.C. and The Senior Citizen Law Center, P.C. where he assisted in matters ranging from civil litigation to real property disputes.

In the summer of 2012, he joined the litigation team of Kirk, Huth, Lange & Badalamenti, PLC, specializing in civil and commercial litigation matters including contract disputes, personal and business tort claims, personal injury cases, probate litigation, municipal law and litigation, association, condominium law, labor and employment law, products liability and real property matters. Mr. Carollo practices at both the trial and appellate levels of the Michigan and Federal judiciary. He also routinely assists business clients with organization and formation, contract drafting, business plans, partnerships, employment agreements and pre-suit contract enforcement.

Mr. Carollo is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the Macomb County Bar Association, and has also been admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. In his spare time he is an avid golfer and Detroit sports fan. He also is involved with the local community having assisted in coaching multiple youth sports programs in and around Clinton Township.
