Lawyer Jeffery Cojocar has made his living – and his reputation – as an aggressive defender of his clients. He is recognized throughout southeast Michigan as a seasoned and thorough trial attorney. Besides a significant state and federal criminal defense practice, Mr. Cojocar also devotes a great deal of his practice to family, real estate, probate, business and general litigation matters. From hotly contested divorce cases involving custody disputes to the preparation and/or litigating of living trusts and wills, his firm is able to handle virtually all legal needs. The firm also represents small businesses with their legal affairs, in all types of civil and commercial litigation.
Jeff Cojocar has practiced law since 1996 and has owned his own firm for 15 years. He majored in political science and minored in criminal justice and speech communications at Wayne State University, earning his Juris Doctorate at the Florida State University College of Law. He is a member of the Michigan State Bar Association, Oakland County Bar Association, Macomb County Bar Association, Criminal Defense Attorneys of Michigan, Michigan Association for Justice, a Criminal Justice Act Panelist defense attorney, many list serves, organizations and specialized groups. He has been listed as a Super Lawyer in the State of Michigan in 2011, 2012, and 2013. Mr. Cojocar's television appearances and/or acknowledgements include the Dr. Phil Show, Anderson Cooper, CNN, Fox News Network, CBS Evening News, and ABC World News.
