Overview
Kari represents clients in guardianship, conservatorship, probate, and estate administration matters. She brings a client-centered approach to her work, shaped by her longstanding commitment to disability advocacy.
Before joining Messick Law, Kari was an associate attorney at a small firm in Rochester, Minnesota. She also clerked for the Honorable Shawn M. Bartsh and, during law school, served as a student attorney in the Special Education Legal Clinic at the University of St. Thomas.
Kari has volunteered with Special Olympics Minnesota for over a decade in a variety of roles and enjoys bringing her expertise and passion to nonprofit organizations through her board involvement. Outside the office, she enjoys reading, baking, staying active, and spending time with her family and her dog, River.
