At Patel Law Firm, LLC, I demonstrate this motto every day as I assist clients with criminal defense, family law and landlord tenant cases along with various other matters in Jackson County and Independence, Missouri. I am an experienced lawyer who began my career by handling very serious cases. I will work on each client's case as if it is the only case I am handling, and I will work quickly and directly on your case to gain the best possible outcome. I maintain good relations with prosecutors and am familiar with county, city and court policies.
I operate a full-service criminal defense law firm. I handle all misdemeanors and felonies, including drug crimes, burglary, robbery, forgery, bad checks, sex crimes, child pornography, and prostitution. I represent clients charged with DUI and DWI as well as traffic violations. I represent clients charged in state or federal court.
In addition to criminal defense, Patel Law Firm assists clients with bankruptcy and a range of family law problems. I assist with divorce, separation agreements, property distribution, spousal maintenance or support, child support and visitation, among other matters. My law firm also represents landlords in landlord/tenant disputes.
I offer free initial consultations. I am available any time of day or night, including evenings and weekends by appointment. I can be reached directly. My office in Independence is conveniently located across the street from the Jackson County courthouse.
