Jamie was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas. While at Wichita State University, she competed on the policy debate team. This experience in a competitive argumentative setting inspired her to pursue a legal career where research and advocacy is encouraged. While in law school, Jamie competed on the Goodell Moot Court Council where she was a finalist at the Evans A. Evans Constitutional Law Competition and competed at the Robert F.
