Overview
David Pearson graduated from Eureka High School in Missouri in 1988 and continued his education by attending night school at Meramec Community College while holding a fulltime job. Mr. Pearson received his Associate's Degree from Meramec in 1993 and chose to attend Missouri State University (f/k/a Southwest Missouri State) in Springfield, Missouri where in 1997 he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry.
Mr. Pearson accepted a position with a chemical company out of St. Louis where he worked as a production and research chemist for five (5) years until deciding to resign his position and attend Law School. At the time of Mr. Pearson's resignation, he oversaw the daily operations of three divisions from the production of industrial soaps to the large scale separation and purification of nucleotides and nucleosides from various DNA sources.
While attending law school at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, Mr. Pearson passed the Patent Bar which allows him to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office in patent cases. Mr. Pearson received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in April 2006 and was admitted to the Missouri Bar Association.
Mr. Pearson began his practice of law by accepting a position with the Missouri State Public Defender's Office out of Harrisonville Missouri. After three years he chose to go into private practice with his office located in Grain Valley, Missouri. After three and a half years Mr. Pearson's law partner relocated to Columbia Missouri with his wife and Mr. Pearson accepted a position with the Johnson County Missouri Prosecutors Office as Assistant Prosecutor where he remained until July of 2017 when he was hired by Dull & Heany.
Mr. Dave Pearson handles family law cases and provides criminal defense services for the firm. He has proven himself to be an aggressive and successful advocate for our clients involved in domestic relations cases and clients charged with serious crimes.
David is committed to honest, straightforward communication with each client. He has excellent credentials and experience across many areas of concern to our clients, including:
