Attorney Information
Overview
Augustyn Law Office LLC is owned and operated by attorney Dan Augustyn. The firm was first opened in Nebraska in 2005 and in New Mexico in 2024. Dan is committed to helping the victims of accidents after several auto accidents shaped his life, including the death of a close friend and the near death of his brother.
Dan is a seventh generation Nebraskan and takes pride in his deep Nebraska roots. Dan grew up in Kearney and Lincoln and graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and the University of Minnesota Law School. He's had family in New Mexico since the mid-1970s, so New Mexico was a natural choice to expand his practice.
Dan and paralegal James Parks have 50 years combined legal experience. They spent a combined 22 years working for a former State Senator before the Senator ceased his practice. The Senator was chair of the Nebraska Legislature's Insurance Committee for a dozen years and practiced law for nearly half a century before his death in 2017. The Senator passed on his knowledge, and we continue to fight for our clients' needs like he did.
