Attorney Information
Overview
A lifelong New Jersey resident, Tom brings over a decade of experience in estate planning and estate administration to the firm. Understanding that preparing for one’s passing—or coping with the loss of a loved one—is an emotional and deeply personal experience, Tom was drawn to PGA Law for its commitment to relationship-building and making a meaningful difference in the lives of its clients.
Tom represents and advises both high- and moderate-net-worth individuals, as well as those seeking more foundational planning, to create well-crafted, tax-efficient estate plans that provide peace of mind to clients and their families. His work includes the drafting of Wills, Revocable Living Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Advance Directives, and Irrevocable Trusts designed to maximize tax savings.
In addition to planning, Tom handles estate administration matters, guiding individual and professional fiduciaries through probate, asset marshaling, and the distribution of estate and trust assets to beneficiaries, ensuring an efficient and thoughtful resolution.
Committed to giving back, Tom is actively involved in several community and service organizations. His roles outside of legal practice include:
- Member, Board of Directors, Mental Health Association in Passaic County
- Member, Board of Directors, Summit (NJ) Police Athletic League (PAL)
- Member, Scholarship Committee, New Jersey State Bar Foundation (NJSBF)
- Member, Clifton High School Athletic Hall of Fame Committee
A long-time high school sports writer who also has a background in New Jersey state government, Tom has been recognized by New Jersey Super Lawyers and named to its Rising Stars list.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
