Overview
Timothy E. (Tim) Casserly is the Founder and President of Burke & Casserly, P.C. established in 1988. After nearly three decades of practice, Tim is one of the most experienced and well-regarded attorneys in the state in the areas of elder law, estate & trust planning and administration and business planning.
A former Chair of the Elder Law & Special Needs Section of the NYS State Bar Association (NYSBA), Tim's philosophy is to educate the public on planning strategies so individuals, families and businesses make informed, educated decisions on what best meets their planning goals and needs. He frequently conducts seminars on planning techniques for estate and long term care not only in the community but among his peers and colleagues as well.
Tim provides counsel to his clients with compassion and an emphasis on developing a collaborative relationship so they have peace of mind in the event of a crisis involving illness, incapacity or death. When meeting with clients, he understands that this type of planning can be complex and overwhelming so he breaks it down in terms they can understand. Tim prides himself on his ability to truly listen to his clients and to translate their vision into plans that meet their desires and expectations, maximizing their financial security.
