Overview
Mike Walker graduated cum laude from St. John’s University School of Law in 2013. While at St. John’s he was selected to the St. John’s Law Review, had his student note published regarding the complex intellectual property implications of cloud storage, and served as the Notes and Comments Editor. He was admitted to practice in the State of New York in 2014.
Prior to practicing law, Mr. Walker worked in the entertainment industry where he got his start as a Music Research intern at Late Night with Conan O’Brien. He later worked at ASCAP for four years during which time he served as a legal assistant where he worked on dozens of copyright infringement claims and developed a passion for the law that motivated him to attend law school.
Mr. Walker has represented injured workers since 2014. He works closely with his clients on their claims from start to finish performing complex trials, depositions, and appeals as needed to obtain the best outcome. He also negotiates with insurance carriers to resolve claims with favorable settlements. In 2023 Mr. Walker joined the team at Miller & Caggiano, LLP where he applies his high energy and aggressive approach to legal advocacy to obtain the monetary and medical benefits his clients deserve under the law.
Mr. Walker is admitted to practice law in the State of New York. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association and Suffolk County Bar Association. Mr. Walker is also a member of the Workers’ Compensation Alliance as well as the Injured Workers’ Bar Association where he currently serves as the Regional District Director for Suffolk County.
In 2021 Mr. Walker was named a Rising Stars Honoree by Super Lawyers New York Metro. Super Lawyers recognizes the top attorneys nationwide, across a variety of practice areas and firm sizes, using a patented process of independent research and peer input.
