Firm Information
Overview
In Brooklyn, New York, our mission at The Law Office of Ronald D. Weiss, P.C., is to transform financial distress into a fresh start. We deliver expert counsel in all facets of bankruptcy – Chapter 7, Chapter 11, Chapter 13 and related appeals. We provide robust foreclosure defense and craft mortgage relief solutions such as friendly and short sales, retention options and payoff plans.
We also negotiate and litigate on behalf of clients confronting credit card, student loan, tax and business debts. Our landlord-tenant practice addresses evictions, lease disputes and bankruptcy-related real estate matters. Each matter begins with a complimentary, no-obligation consultation. We analyze your complete financial snapshot – assets, obligations, timelines – and present a fully itemized plan and fee outline before any work begins.
Ronald D. Weiss established this practice in November 1993 following his graduate work at New York University School of Law, where he was awarded the Galgay Fellowship in Bankruptcy and Reorganization Law, contributed to the Emory Bankruptcy Developments Journal and served as a clerk for Bankruptcy Judge Prudence B. Abrams. Admitted in New York and Connecticut, he leads our team in delivering nuanced, client-focused representation.
To make things easy on you, we welcome walk-ins and appointments at any of our satellite locations, and we also offer virtual consultations. We accept credit cards; keep billing clear and upfront, and handle your case from start to finish – preparing petitions and motions, negotiating with creditors, and representing you in court – so you can take back control of your finances with confidence.
In addition to our main location, you can find The Law Office of Ronald D. Weiss, P.C., at our other New York offices in Melville, Bohemia, Mineola and Forest Hills.
We are a debt relief agency. We help people file for bankruptcy relief under the Bankruptcy Code.
