Absolutely highly recommend Klug Law Firm. I used Noah and his team to process my family E-2 Treaty Investor Visa. He makes your process looks smooth and easy with no stress at all. He really made you feel like we were in great hands always (inspired full confidence in us). Extremely professional person. Looking forward to work with him and his team in our next immigration step. Seriously, thanks Noah!

I hired Noah E. Klug, Esq. when it came time to remove the restriction on my permanent resident status and the process was seamless, he spoke to me candidly about the wait, what was needed and the price was reasonable . I would recommend the firm to anyone going though this process.

I absolutely recommend Noah if you need expert immigration legal advice. I had a complex greencard/ I-485 application being handled through my company’s immigration counsel (Fragomen). However, I found Fragomen ill-equipped to handle complex situations with multiple moving pieces (and generally gave poor advice), and so asked Noah for his help navigating the situation. He was spot on in all his recommendations, explained things clearly, and was highly responsive. I wouldn’t hesitate to work with him again on any future immigration questions, and highly recommend him to anyone else seeking expert immigration counsel.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
