Educational Background
Mr. Adams graduated from New York University with Honors. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School with a number of distinctions including Law Review. After graduating from Law School, Mr. Adams was admitted the PhD program for Political Science at Columbia University. In 2008, Mr. Adams received his M.Phil from Columbia University with a specialty in American Political Science. He is now ABD (all but doctorate), and is currently working on his dissertation in the study of judicial behavior. He has taught Constitutional Law and American Political Science as an adjunct profession at the City University of New York.

Mr. Adams was admitted to practice in New York in 1996, and he has been in private practice since that time. Over the course of his career, Mr. Adams has specialized in several fields of law. His firm has handled upwards of seven thousand real estate closings and residential mortgage originations. He represents private buyers and sellers in real estate transactions. He has also represented large institutional lenders including JPMorgan Chase, Citibank, Wells Fargo Bank, Bank of America, and a host of others national and regional banks. Mr. Adams has represented clients in the process of condominium conversion as well representing cooperative corporations.
Bankruptcy & Loss Mitigation
Mr. Adams has 15 years of experience handling bankruptcy matters. His primary focus has been helping individuals obtain relief under Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 of the bankruptcy code. Mr. Adams has also handled Chapter 11 cases reorganizations and corporate dissolutions. He has also represented creditors in the bankruptcy court. Mr. Adams has extensive experience representing clients in other areas of loss mitigation including loan modifications, debt settlement, and foreclosure defense.

Mr. Adams is well versed in the area of estate planning and administration. He has handled both small estates and multi-million dollar estates. Mr. Adams also has a diverse background in family law, including prenuptial agreements, separation agreements, and divorces.
