I had a terrible experience working with Sara Shulevitz. From start to finish, her lack of professionalism, indifference, and careless mistakes were evident in every interaction. She never took the time to properly understand my case and left me uninformed throughout the entire process. Her unwillingness to fight for the best possible outcome was clear, and I couldn’t be more disappointed with the results. Beyond her lack of expertise, her cold and dismissive attitude made a difficult time even harder. I strongly advise against hiring Sara Shulevitz if you want competent and supportive legal representation.

After some delegation between myself and Sara we were able to get my case dismissed and help me move past a trying situation.

I had an exceptional experience working with Sara Shulevitz. From start to finish, her professionalism, dedication, and attention to detail were evident in every interaction. She took the time to thoroughly understand my case and kept me informed throughout the entire process. Her commitment to achieving the best possible outcome was clear, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Beyond her expertise, her genuine care and compassion made a challenging time much easier. I highly recommend Sara Shulevitz to anyone seeking skilled and compassionate legal representation.

A True Blessing to Work With Sara Shulevitz and Mindy Meyer make a phenomenal team, combining expertise with real empathy. They were dedicated from start to finish, and their focus on achieving a dismissal was clear every step of the way. Words can't express the gratitude for what they’ve done.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
